I had a great experience with Wayne over the holiday weekend. During my drive up to Santa Rosa from San Francisco, my AC stopped working and the temperature gauge shot up to H. We made it up to Santa Rosa without overheating, but I did not want to risk driving down without getting my car looked at.  (Especially because I was driving very precious cargo - my friend and her 5-year-old daughter!) Long story short -- I found Wayne through Yelp.  He was open on the Saturday after the 4th (of July) and said he'd be able to check out my car within the hour.  He was friendly and funny, and I immediately trusted him. He was able to diagnose the problem, had the part that needed replacing, and fixed it for me by the end of the day, just in time for the drive home.  His prices seemed very reasonable (my friend commented that the diagnostic cost $50 less than her's cost at an SF shop). If you're looking for a shop in Santa Rosa, give them a try! - Sandy S. I moved up from the south bay where I'd been going to the same mechanic for over 25 years.  Unfortunately there was a problem with my beautiful 1966 Chevelle that I needed to find a shop to fix.  I'm EXTREMELY picky about my Chevelle and while talking to Wayne about my car I asked if I could come look at his shop.  He said to come down anytime.  I went to his shop and he stopped what he was doing and gave me a tour of the shop...which is very clean and introduced me to his sons.  I've had my Chevelle at his shop twice now, once for a broken oil pump, and he mounted and balanced my rear tires.  They took care of my car like it was their own baby!  Any work to be done on any of my cars will be done at Wayne & Sons from now on! - Greg L. Came here to get my AC fixed (it was blowing hot air in 100 degree weather, very fun) dropped it off in morning, it was done by lunch. The estimate was the same amount as the final total. How many mechanics do you know?! Well I know quite a few, over the years of dealing with awful cheaply made cars, and unable to afford fixing them, I have dealt with friends and family mechanics AND ones that are at random shops through out Sonoma County. AND NEVER NOT ONCE have I felt as happy to drop off a broken down car as I am to drop mine off with them!
EVERY one I know that works on cars, cuss, complain and look soooo worn out and tired. Then I walk into this shop and they are smiling and singing and whistling! They LOVE their job, the work they do shows, and they are the most caring and loving people to be around when your car isn't doing so great! 
They have shown me and many others they care, and don't want you to drive off and ruin your car further.
I highly recommend them for ANYONE and everyone wanting an honest and caring mechanic that will not make you feel like your car or your business is a burden!

Wayne to the rescue! I cannot stress enough how helpful Wayne and his shop was to me. My truck all but exploded near his shop, less than an hour before he closed. I walked in without calling, I'm not from the area and my head gasket had blown but I had no idea what was wrong. Wayne stopped what he was doing to help me diagnose my issue. He was booked out for the whole week and could not help me with my repair, but he sat on the phone with the company my engine was made by, helping me sort out my warranty and then called me a discounted tow truck and had me towed to a mechanic he referred me to that could get me going within a week. He even called the referred mechanic the next morning and discussed my trucks diagnosis with him so that we could move things along more smoothly. I actually did not end up using Wayne & Sons for any repairs, but my experience with them was excellent. I've been taking my Saturn  to the dealer. Recently, my car wouldn't shift out of park. The dealer said I needed a new shift control lock solenoid, but the part was  no longer available. I called Wayne & Sons and spoke to Brett one of the mechanics there. He offered a number of suggestions that I could try including some work-arounds. I ultimately decided to to take the car in for them to fix the problem, When I got there for my appointment, Brett kindly offered to take a quick look at the problem in the parking lot. He said he was pretty sure it was not the solenoid, but the BCM module which was very expensive. He said a number of his customers had lived with the problem for years. So while Brett could have just had me keep my appointment and charge for the diagnosis or just replaced the solenoid as the dealer said, he did none of the above. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use Brett. He is one honest, experienced, and knowledgeable mechanic!! - Dave S. (5 star review on Yelp)

They took care of my problem in short order.  It was a hose that was put on improperly by the Dinan people in Mountain View.  I watched the mechanic (Brad) work and was impressed by his serious and methodical process in sleuthing the problem.  He told me the wreck was his.  He bought the totaled car and was going to upgrade the missing engine with something above and beyond the original engine.  I could see his eyes brighten a little with enthusiasm as he explained the plan - but my eyes glazed over with the details.  I just drive 'em - skip the details.
